irish standing committee
The remit of the Standing Committee is to discuss matters of particular relevance to anaesthetists practicing in the Republic of Ireland and to report to Council via the Convenor, a co-opted member of Council.
The
Irish Standing Committee comprises the Convenor, Honorary Secretary and ten members elected by ballot of Association members resident in the Republic of Ireland. The President of the Irish College of Anaesthetists and a representative of Irish anaesthetists in training serve as co-opted members.
Officers of the Association attend the Standing Committee at least once each year, usually at the November Meeting.
