Responsible for promoting the work of the Association and the specialty of Anaesthesia to a wide audience. Key areas of responsibility include, Public Affairs, Press Office, Anaesthesia News, Website Development, Print Production, Sponsorship and Event Support.

Events and Seminars
The Events and Seminars team organise the Association's conferences, including WSM London and Annual Congress. They aim to provide value for money for members without compromising the high standard of Association conferences. They are also responsible for the Associations one-day Meetings and Seminars and aim to provide a first-rate programme for members; offering new and exciting topics alongside updates on highly popular subjects and open discussion in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The Team also oversee the management and development of the conference services provided by the AAGBI to Specialist Societies and outside organisations.

Assisting the Finance Manager by being responsible for the monthly accounting cycle, recording and processing the Association's income from investments to room hire and all expenditure outside the purchase ledger.

The role of the Finance Assistant is to support the Finance Manager in all aspects of finance function. There is specific responsibility for the accurate recording and payment of invoiced costs and claimed expenses, support of the Specialist Society function in any financial aspects and administration of the Overseas Anaesthesia Fund.
