The Education Committee

The Education Committee is responsible for the educational strategy of the AAGBI. Educational events include Seminars, regional Core Topics Meetings, and the annual Winter Scientific Meeting (WSM) London and Annual Congress, details of which can be viewed in the events listings.

A major focus of the Education Committee is to develop an online learning for all. In addition to podcasts and the Anaesthesia Tutorial of the Week, we have recently launched our online video platform, where you can view lectures from seminars and major meetings online. With the prospect of revalidation we know that there will be greater demand for CPD. At the same time, we realise the increasing difficulty in getting time away from work and hospitals decreasing financial support for study leave. We hope we can help with your learning requirements from the comfort of your own homes!
