Archives, Museum and Library Committee
The Committee meets twice during the year under the chairmanship of a member of Council. Other members of the Committee include the Honorary Archivist, the Heritage Adviser, the Honorary Librarian, Heritage and Records Manager, a Volunteer Representative and the Honorary Archivist of the Royal College of Anaesthetists. One or two elected members of Council and a GAT representative also serve on the Committee. All members of Executive are ex-officio members of the Committee and are therefore entitled to attend the meetings.
The Committee’s responsibilities include supervision of the Association’s extensive collection of historical equipment, books and memorabilia, maintenance of the Association’s archives and supply of information to enquirers.
“Over the past twelve months the number of visitors to The Heritage Centre has increased yet again.”
Dr Alistair McKenzie
Former Chair of the Museum, Library and Archive Committee
