BY ROAD

The Riviera Conference Centre is only 6 miles from the A380 dual carriageway and the M5 motorway, a
fast and direct link to London and the Midlands

From Scotland:

Aberdeen 10 hour drive
Edinburgh 8 hour drive
Glasgow 8 hour drive
From A74: Continue on A74 to M6; Leave M6 at junction 8 taking exit to M5
(South West, Birmingham) and follow to end. Continue onto A38 to Torquay


From North England:

Newcastle 7 hour drive
Leeds 5 hour drive
Liverpool 4.5 hour drive
Manchester 4.5 hour drive
From M1 Leave M1 at junction 23a onto A42; continue forward onto M42 leaving at junction 4a onto the M5 (southwest). Follow M5 to end and continue forward onto A38 to Torquay
From M6 Leave M6 at junction 8 taking exit to M5 (South West, Birmingham) and follow to
end. Continue onto A38 to Torquay



From South East England and London:

Norwich 6 hour drive
Cambridge 5 hour drive
London
(Central)
4 hour drive
From M25 Leave M25 at Junction 15 to join the M4 Motorway (The West), Leave M4 at
junction 20 joining the M5 (South West, Bristol Airport). Follow M5 to end and
continue forward onto A38 to Torquay


From Wales:

Cardiff 2.5 hour drive
Swansea 3 hour drive
Liverpool 4.5 hour drive
Manchester 4.5 hour drive
From M4 Leave M4 at junction 20 joining the M5 (South West, Bristol Airport). Follow M5
to end and continue forward onto A38 to Torquay

 

From South West:

Bristol 2 hour drive using M5
Exeter 30 minute drive on local roads
Plymouth 1 hour drive on local roads

Parking is available on site at the Riviera Conference Centre

BY AIR

The closest airports to the centre are Exeter and Plymouth. There are daily flights to Exeter from
Aberdeen, Belfast, Dublin, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle and Norwich, and
to Plymouth from Bristol, London Gatwick, Leeds, Manchester and Newquay.

BY RAIL

Fast train services offer direct links from all parts of the UK to Torquay (and Newton Abbot). It now takes
just under 3 hours to get from London to Torquay. The railway station is located in the centre of Torquay, just minutes away from the Riviera Conference Centre.

At the time of going to print direct trains from the following places were available at the following times:

London Paddington: Regular direct train service regularly from 0527 till 2345. Average journey time: 3–4 hours.

London Waterloo: 0710, 1420, other trains are available with changes. Average journey time: 3–4 hours.

Bristol: 0755, 1058, 1258, other trains are available with changes. Average Journey time: 2 hours.

Birmingham: 0610, 0940, 1140, other trains are available with changes. Average Journey time: 3–3.5 hours.
