GENERAL INFORMATION

VENUE

The 2008 Annual Scientific Meeting of the Group of Anaesthetists in Training (GAT) will be held at the Liner Hotel in Liverpool and will run from Wednesday 2 July to Friday 4 July.

REGISTRATION

The registration desk will be open from 1000 on Wednesday 2 July until 1200 on Friday 4 July.

ACCOMMODATION

A free booking service has been organised by Virtuoso Ltd who have reserved rooms have at the Holiday Inn and The Liner Hotel. The Holiday Inn is in walking distance of The Liner Hotel. Delegates wishing to book accommodation should do so through Virtuoso to ensure the discounted rates. The Liner Hotel is available for £69 per person per night, bed and breakfast, and the Holiday Inn will cost £50.

Please note that this free service has been arranged independently from the Association for the convenience of delegates. The Association does not profit in any way from delegates using this service.

CATERING

Conference lunch will be provided for all delegates on Wednesday 2 and Thursday 3 July. Food will be available at both social events on Wednesday 2 and Thursday 3 July.

FREE WORKSHOP PLACE OF YOUR CHOICE

“Come back to GAT and bring a friend ”

if you are returning to GAT for another year, and are introducing a friend, we are offering you a chance to get any one workshop of your choice FREE.

Complete your registration form stating the name of the friend you are introducing and ask them to mention your name on their form and we will give the first 50 returning delegates one workshop free of charge. The delegate being introduced must be coming for their first time. Don’t forget that junior trainees and newly appointed consultants are welcome too!
