GAT REPRESENTATION
The GAT Committee represents the views and perspectives of anaesthetic trainees on the Councils of both the AAGBI and the Royal College of Anaesthetists (RCoA), as well as on most of the Committees and Working Parties within these organisations. The Committee also has representation on other national medical bodies such as the National Reference Panel for Anaesthesia Practitioners, the Anaesthetic Sub-committee of the Central Consultants and Specialists Committee and the Junior Doctors Committee of the British Medical Association (BMA).
As elected members, the views we express reflect the consensus of Committee opinion, often after healthy debate and taking into account results from our national surveys and personal communications from the membership. We always welcome fresh ideas or feedback and encourage members to contact us via gat@aagbi.org
