GRANTS AND AWARDS AVAILABLE FOR SAS DOCTORS

SAS Travel Grant

The Association of Anaesthetists of Great Britain and Ireland invites applications for the SAS Travel Grant. This is a new grant (up to a maximum of £2000) exclusively given for SAS doctors to visit a place of excellence of their choice for two weeks. This is not meant for attending a meeting or a conference. Entries will be judged by the SAS Committee of the AAGBI. All SAS doctors who are members of the AAGBI are eligible to apply for the grant.

The closing date for the 2009 round was 23rd October and we are no longer accepting applications. Details of the 2010 round will be made available in due course.

SAS Audit and Research Prize

The Association of Anaesthetists of Great Britain and Ireland (AAGBI) invites applications for the SAS Audit and Research Prize.  This is exclusively for SAS doctors to encourage them to undertake research and audit.  Entries will be judged by the Research Committee of the AAGBI.  All SAS doctors who are members of the AAGBI are eligible to apply for the prize.

The closing date for the 2010 round was 15th January and we are no longer accepting entries. Details of the 2011 round will be made available later this year.
