Opening Times

The Heritage Centre is open Mondays to Fridays from 9.30am – 5.00pm
Appointment recommended.
There is no entrance charge but charges do apply for some services to support the Anaesthesia Heritage Centre.

Access Information
The Anaesthesia Heritage Centre is accessible via an outside staircase from street level to the basement and for disabled visitors via the main reception and lift. Information about the exhibition is available in large print on request.


Access and Use

Conditions governing access : Appointments are recommended and access is in accordance with the Data Protection Act. Records are generally open unless access would contravene the Act.

Conditions governing reproduction : Photocopies of material can be supplied, subject to copyright restrictions and suitability of the item for photocopying.

Finding aids : Database. Searches will be undertaken on request. The collections are not fully catalogued.


Group Visits
Bookings for groups of up to 15 people can be made on request.  Talks and guided tours are also available.
