Traveling exhibition
The Association of Anaesthetists of Great Britain and Ireland celebrated seventy-five years since its foundation in 2007. To give a taste of what anaethetists were using in 1932, the year of the Association’s foundation, a traveling exhibition has visited the Winter Scientific Meeting at the Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre in London from 10 to 12 January 2007.
On display have been artefacts that were used to provide anaesthesia and analgesia in 1932.
Posters produced by Dr T B Boulton charting the foundation of the Association of Anaesthetists of Great Britain and Ireland have also been on display.
In 2008, traveling exhibitions will be shown at the Winter Scientific Meeting in London and the Annual Congress in Torquay.
