Anaesthesia News Editor

Anaesthesia News is the monthly membership newsletter of the AAGBI circulated to over 10,000 members in Great Britain, Ireland and overseas; 98% of members in AAGBI’s recent membership survey (2011) said they read it several times a year.

The Association is seeking to appoint a new editor for a three year term of office. This is an honorary role which offers excellent opportunities for a practicing anaesthetist to develop this successful publication. S/he is supported by a team of three assistant editors (two consultant anaesthetists and a trainee) and an experienced in-house design/production staff (based at 21 Portland Place in London). The editor also reports to the Anaesthesia News editorial board which meets two or three times a year and s/he attends AAGBI board meetings.
