Anaesthesia is the official journal of the Association of Anaesthetists of Great Britain and Ireland and is international in scope and comprehensive in coverage. It is one of the top-ranking anaesthetic journal in the UK and is third in the world rankings of journals devoted to anaesthesia rather than to pain.
Anaesthesia publishes original, peer reviewed articles on all aspects of general and regional anaesthesia, intensive care and pain therapy, including research on equipment.

Anaesthesia Correspondence Website
You now have the opportunity to post or read letters relating to published articles online. You are invited to generate letters or respond to existing letters.
Each correspondence is screened by the editors and we will post all but the irrelevant or incomprehensible on the Website. A selection of letters will then be chosen for later publication in the Journal.
