Venue Hire

21 Portland Place, the home of the Association of Anaesthetists was built in 1776 and is an elegant 18th century listed building, originally built on the 'Grandest Street in London'. It is a Grade II* listed building, and contains a wealth of attractive features. Particular fine examples are the ceilings of the main rooms - the Portex and the Intavent Suite - which incorporate ornate moldings and paintings into their design.  The house was bought by the Association in 2002 and has been modernised to create a fully functioning office and meeting venue whilst respecting the beauty of the building. Reduced Rates are also available for registered charities, medical associations and NHS related bodies wishing to hire meeting rooms.
