As you may be aware, the first AAGBI webinar on 'Optimising patients before surgery - the importance of the pre-operative period’  took place on Thursday 26th October 2017 at 13:55. This was popular, and very well received.

The second AAGBI webinar, 'Translating Alien Ideas Into Patient Safety Advances' will be held on Wednesday 21st of February, and is now open for booking. This will feature the three speakers below, and will be chaired by Dr Tim Meek.

  • Paul Davis MBE, National Investigator at Healthcare Safety Investigation Branch
  • Martin Bromiley OBE, Founder and Chair, Clinical Human Factors Group
  • Guy Weinberg, Professor of Anesthesiology, University of Illinois and 'Lipid Rescue' pioneer

We are keen to make this a success, with good attendance numbers and lots of interactive discussion. It is a strong programme with some excellent and well renowned speakers.

You will be able to log in from the comfort of your own home, your office, or any where that is convenient, all you need is a decent internet connection and a quiet room, thus saving travel time and expense. The fee includes access to the recording, so even if you cannot attend live, it can be watched at your leisure. You will also be able to reflect through Learn@AAGBI  in the normal way.

Viewing/participating in this webinar live, online, may be considered as external CPD, whilst viewing it offline may be considered as internal CPD.

We are planning upcoming Webinars on a range of topics, some of which will be held in the evening.

Please email training@aagbi.org if you would like more information.
