AAGBI offers educational seminars featuring leading experts in the fields of anaesthesia, critical care and pain medicine who present the latest information on a variety of key anaesthesia topics. Seminars are designed to focus on a specific field of interest within anaesthesia and help to build on specialist interests. They offer an intimate learning environment with a maximum of 50 delegates at each. Keeping the numbers low encourages delegate faculty interaction.

AAGBI seminars are open to all grades of anaesthetists.

All AAGBI seminars take place at the centrally located AAGBI headquarters at 21 Portland Place in London, unless otherwise stated. A small number of seminars are held in larger venues, always in close proximity to the AAGBI headquarters.

The seminars are timed so that it is possible for almost all those attending (both speakers and audience) to travel to and from London on the day of the seminar, without the need to stay overnight. Most seminars start around 10:30 and finish by 16:30.
