The International Relations Committee

The International Relations Committee (IRC) aims to:

  1. Support anaesthetists who train, work or undertake research in low- and middle-income countries.
  2. Distribute educational materials and develop high-quality anaesthesia training courses.
  3. Promote access to safe surgery and anaesthesia as a public health priority.

The IRC offers travel funding grants to anaesthetists seeking funding to work or to deliver educational training courses in low- and middle-income countries. More information about funding can be found here »

Funding partners of the IRC include Association of Anaesthetists, Difficult Airway Society (DAS), Royal College of Anaesthetists (RCoA) and World Anaesthesia Society (WAS).
