Funding for research

There are a variety of grants and awards that, as a member of the AAGBI, you can apply for. Some AAGBI research funding is allocated by the Grants Committee of the National Institute for Academic Anaesthesia (NIAA).

The AAGBI Foundation also awards funds directly to further support its research priorities (see below). Grants and awards for SAS grade anaesthetists, trainees and undergraduates, plus travel grants and IRC funding remain independently funded by the AAGBI Foundation. Trainee awards
