Funding for research

Members of the Association of Anaesthetists can apply for grants and awards. Some of our research funding is allocated by the Grants Committee of the National Institute for Academic Anaesthesia (NIAA). We also award funds directly to further support its research priorities (see below). Grants and awards for SAS grade anaesthetists, trainees and undergraduates, plus travel grants and IRC funding remain independently funded by our Foundation.
